Niigata Prefecture accounts for only around 2% of Japan’s total pear production. However, the region is highly active in developing new varieties and places particular emphasis on building premium brands that pursue exceptional quality.

For this reason, we mainly offer high-end branded pears from Niigata Prefecture.

＜Brand Introduction＞

・Tenkatoitsu
Tenkatoitsu is a premium fruit brand established by JA Echigo Chuetsu and is applied to a wide range of fruits.
Each fruit is carefully graded using optical sensors that measure sugar content, color, and size, together with a visual inspection of its external appearance.
Among them, the special grade known as “Tosen Kakujitsu” is reserved for pears with a sugar content of at least 13° Brix. Fewer than 5% of all pears meet these strict standards, making them an exceptionally rare and premium selection.

・Itto-sho
Itto-sho is the highest-grade fruit brand of JA Niigata Kagayaki and is awarded to only around the top 5% of its fruit.
Sugar content is measured using optical sensors, and only fruits that also meet strict standards for appearance and coloration are carefully selected for this premium grade.
