Grapes

Due to Japan’s hot and humid climate, thick-skinned grape varieties have been cultivated here for many years;
however, starting with the Shine Muscat—introduced in 2006—
many new varieties have emerged that feature large, beautiful berries, intense sweetness, mild acidity, and are edible with the skin on.
We select only those varieties that are suitable for export and sell only the highest-quality grapes.

<Variety Introduction>

・Shine Muscat
This variety has become particularly popular in recent years, both domestically and internationally.
It is seedless and can be eaten with the skin on; its strong sweetness and mild acidity make it very easy to eat.
It is also characterized by a refreshing muscat aroma and crisp, juicy flesh.
Because it resists shattering and has a long shelf life, making it well-suited for export, it is our most widely exported variety.

・Nagano Purple
This black grape is a descendant of Kyoho, Japan’s most widely produced grape variety.
With slightly large berries, high sugar content, and no seeds—and the ability to be eaten whole without peeling—it offers both convenience and a sense of luxury.
It is characterized by firm, crisp flesh and a rich sweetness.

・Queen Rouge
This red grape is a descendant of the Shine Muscat.
It has a very high sugar content and mild acidity. It can be eaten with the skin on and has a subtle muscat aroma.
Due to its limited production, it is a rare and premium grape that stands out for its vivid red color.

・Ruby Roman
It is characterized by having some of the largest berries among all grape varieties and was developed by selecting only the exceptionally large berries from the Fujiminori variety.
Only grapes that meet strict standards—such as a diameter of 31 mm, a weight of 20 g or more, and a sugar content of 18 degrees or higher—are shipped as Ruby Roman.
Among these, the highest grade, “PREMIUM,” has special specifications: every berry weighs 30 g or more, and each cluster weighs 700 g or more.
Its overwhelming berry size and jewel-like appearance give it strong appeal as an iconic luxury grape.

・Fuji no Kagayaki
This grape is also known as Black Shine Muscat.
The deep purple-black berries are exceptionally large and boast one of the highest sugar contents among all grape varieties, characterized by a rich, deep sweetness with a unique depth of flavor.
In addition to its rarity due to limited production, its black appearance and extremely high sugar content make it
an ideal grape for differentiated marketing, such as limited-edition sales or as a premium gift.
