Tropical
"Tropical fruits" is a general term for fruits grown in tropical regions. Many of these fruits can only be cultivated in their native tropical climates and were once rarely available in Japan. However, advances in processing and preservation technologies have made an increasing number of varieties accessible in recent years. This category includes many distinctive varieties, such as durian—often called the "king of fruits"—and dragon fruit, each with its own unique character and appeal.
At Funasho Shoji, we handle a wide range of tropical fruits, including rare varieties with limited distribution. For major high-volume products, we conduct on-site visits to production regions and focus on supplier selection, securing stable quantities, and continuously improving quality.
